The non-governmental organisation Emmaus Europe has published a colourful poster containing their recommendations on the Commission's proposals set to amend the current asylum package. The recommendations target the Reception, Procedures & Qualification Directives as well as the Dublin system, the European Refugee Fund and also EASO.

On EASO, Emmaus Europe recommends the following:
- "A better distribution of refugees between the Member States on the initiative of the European Asylum Support Office and in accordance with the choices made by the asylum seekers themselves;
- Civil society's involvement in the European Asylum Support Office’s deliberations;
- Quality training for staff tasked with examining asylum applications and a list to be drawn up of existing training in the Member States."
